  1.  Basic ^variantname Message Flow Control
  2.  
  3.    ^variantname supports the following basic message flow controls.  To use
  4.  these, simply type the first letter of each command while messages are flowing
  5.  (displaying).  (If you don't know how to display messages, see .Help READ,
  6.  but these basically boils down to <N>ew, <O>ld, <F>orward, <R>everse, and their
  7.  advanced variants).

  9.  <P>ause - This causes the message flow to temporarily stop.  Hitting nearly
  10.  any key will restart output (but see the advanced section below for an
  11.  exception).

  13.  <S>top - This stops the message flow and returns you to the room prompt.
  14.  
  15.  <N>ext - This stops displaying the current message and begins displaying
  16.  the next message.  If this is the last message to be displayed, you are returned
  17.  to the room prompt.

  19.  <J>ump - This causes the display of the current paragraph to stop and jump
  20.  to the next paragraph of the current message.  If this was the last message,
  21.  Citadel will start displaying the next message.
